Jump! is always looking for new volunteers to join our team. As the number of schools that we work in grows, the more volunteers we need. We also require volunteers to help make resources, source funding and other administrative and practical tasks outside of school. No previous experience is necessary.
Lessons are planned and all resources provided. Volunteers are given the opportunity to say when they are available for lessons so retain control of their involvement at all times. New volunteers are accompanied by a well experienced member of the team - a Lesson Leader. The volunteer assists with the delivery of the lesson, doing tasks such as reading Bible passages, giving out resources and talking to the pupils whilst they are doing activities. If they want to, and depending on experience, volunteers can train to be Lesson Leaders.
Tell us what you are good at and we'll see if we can help you do that in school or in the office. There will be a short application process including obtaining a DBS check and agreement to comply with our safeguarding policy, which can be found here.
